not many cigar minnows have shown up yet...still can get a few with gold hooks or bait rigs

alewife seem to be plentiful remember the rings or nets are illegal in Florida

some of the best fishing times are just before and after sunrise and sunset...another good indicator is wind a south or better southeast wind usually always brings fish to the pier

weekend weather looks good no rain in the forecast

yesterday a good bag some pompano, blues, hardtails, spanish came back with the wind, skippies and a #35 cobia

Have a brisk west wind, clear sky and warmer temps...water is clean waves 1-3 and alot of grass close to shore with a temp of 77

yeesterdays catch included 2 legal cobia, at least 2 kings, and the usual assortment of bonito, hardtails, pompano, and skippies, no word on spanish

so far today some hardtails and skippies

another cool morning...got a slight west wind, calm and clear water with some grass and a temp of 79

Not much wind yesterday keep the catch down to pompano, bonito and hardtails

getting better already today with reports of good bonito runs, skippies, bunches of hardtails and one lone cobia

if we get a bit of east or south wind the spanish should be back in

Fair skies and clear water for today...there are a few scattered patches of grass water temp 79 and flat

yesterdays catch had some good spanish and hardtail runs scattered skippies reds blues and bonito

most people use minnows either dead or alive for reds...the smaller ones will also hit squid or shrimp fish for these close to the bottom

Had some rain last night....clearing up and sun is coming out...no wind waves 1-3 water clear with a temp of 77

Got a west wind today moving at a good clip skies are partly cloudy...water 76 waves 2-4...the water is clean and no sign of grass

alot of birds are feeding close in...this is always a good sign that some bait fish are present

A little cooler over night dropped the water temp to 76...should climb back up today...we have clear skies, no wind and clear calm water

as is usually the case calm waters slows the catching of big fish

yesterday we heard of spanish kinda slow, hardtails, a good run of pompano, and skippies.

so far today some scattered hardtails and spanish

bait...has not showed up in abundance yet...anglers are able to catch a few cigar minnows and alewife using gold hooks and bait rigs...a reminder the old net tye rigs for catching alewife have been illegal if Florida for a few years now

We have the overcast skies back and at this time of the year rain can happen any day and any time

today have heard of jack cerevalle and hardtails, there have been reports of king sighted but none on the deck

Another west wind...this one is stronger then yesterday cloudy sky and not much chance of rain water temp 77 waves 1-3 some june grass is showing up close to shore

got another cobia yesterday was small but legal also a few kings along with the good spanish runs, scattered pompano, blues, hard tails, reds, and skippies

The one thing I noticed is there is the stereotyping bunching all ""kids"" in the same catagory.. as with every group 99% are good and 1% trouble....if we can help identify that 1% and deal with them it will make for a better place to fish

Today the water is still a little rough but it is fairly clean. The wind is not as bad as has been for the past 2 days. Still out of the southeast though. Water temp is 75.

Yesterdays reported catch was blue, jack crevelle ,red fish and skipjacks(or ladyfish).

So far today there has been hardtails and blues.
