same weather..got the east wind blowing strong great waves...clear water an a temp of 71

yesterdays catch was okay.. got some pompano flounder, reds, blues, and skipjack

for boaters a reminder that this is the last day of red snapper season

Finally something other then a north wind....today it has shifted to the east and may being still shifting to a little south of east as the day goes on...fisherman know the southeast is the best wind for the pier

the water is still clear and we have some fishing size waves...temp 72

yesterday saw a big increase in the daily catch..had a good run of bonito, still acres of skipjack, along with spanish, reds, blues, pompano, and flounder

all in all a good day of fishing

Broken record on the weather...Cool north wind crystal clear water and small waves...Temp 72 this morning

more fish showed up yesterday..At time there were acres and acres of skipjack...They also reported some Spanish, reds, blues, bonito, and pompano...

rumor has it that bonito are striking about anything this morning

Conditions still about the same...Water temperature 72 crystal clear light north wind small waves...The sand bars are still looking for a permanent place

more fish showed up yesterday that had a huge catch of reds, some Spanish, skipjack, blues, and a few black snapper...

so far there is no entry in the junior angler category for the pier...12 and under catch a fish enter it in the rodeo and win a prize..Times running out for this one

The beach and sandbars are changing daily...It will be interesting to see where they finally end up

Wind has shifted to the north again...Expecting some cool temperatures the water is still clear and the waves have dropped a bit but still 2-3

We are seeing the first signs of Wilma...Our wind is still light and from the south, but the seas are building and the water stirred up...It is still clean..Just hard to see into because of the wave action

yesterdays catch included some more good runs of Spanish, skipjack, blues and reds

Finally a small change in the weather.....today we still have the clear water but the wind has finally shifted to the south and some small waves...this should really help fishing if it holds for a day or two

yesterday we had several great runs of spanish, they would only stay in 15-20 minutes, but when they were there everybdy was getting them ...also a few black snapper were reported

plan now for this week end..the destin rodeo will stage the second annual

wather conditions remain unchanged today still a north wind calm and clear seas

the fishing is abnormally slow for this time of the year just a few hardtails and flounder reported

we need for the wnd to change the things will pick up

I think if the north wind ever stops and turns from the south things will bust wide open
