Today starts the annual destin fishing rodeo...everyone fishing from this pier is eligible to enter their catch in the rodeo...there is no entry fee

species include pompano, king mackeral, spanish, mackeral, jack, crevalle, speckled trout.

there is also a junior devision

weigh-ins are from 10am-7pm behind a.j. resturant in destin...you cannot weigh a fish at the pier to enter in the tourney, it must be done in destin
