not many cigar minnows have shown up yet...still can get a few with gold hooks or bait rigs

alewife seem to be plentiful remember the rings or nets are illegal in Florida

some of the best fishing times are just before and after sunrise and sunset...another good indicator is wind a south or better southeast wind usually always brings fish to the pier

most people use minnows either dead or alive for reds...the smaller ones will also hit squid or shrimp fish for these close to the bottom

A little cooler over night dropped the water temp to 76...should climb back up today...we have clear skies, no wind and clear calm water

as is usually the case calm waters slows the catching of big fish

yesterday we heard of spanish kinda slow, hardtails, a good run of pompano, and skippies.

bait...has not showed up in abundance yet...anglers are able to catch a few cigar minnows and alewife using gold hooks and bait rigs...a reminder the old net tye rigs for catching alewife have been illegal if Florida for a few years now

today have heard of jack cerevalle and hardtails, there have been reports of king sighted but none on the deck

The one thing I noticed is there is the stereotyping bunching all ""kids"" in the same catagory.. as with every group 99% are good and 1% trouble....if we can help identify that 1% and deal with them it will make for a better place to fish

Today the water is still a little rough but it is fairly clean. The wind is not as bad as has been for the past 2 days. Still out of the southeast though. Water temp is 75.

Yesterdays reported catch was blue, jack crevelle ,red fish and skipjacks(or ladyfish).

So far today there has been hardtails and blues.
