27 Apr 11

Partly cloudy, southeast wind, mild temps

Water is clean, temp 76, waves 2-3+

Yesterday: Reds, skippies, kings, spanish, and blues

No early reports today

For Chris: Your best baits are shrimp and squid for the smaller bottom fish, minnows and artificial for the larger surface ones. Gotcha's are best for spanish.

As for times, most people think early in the morning and just before sunset. A south or south east wind also helps

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We were out there last night from 9:00-11:30 and didn't catch anything but baitfish ourselves. We did see others land 5 or 6 redfish in the 25"-45" range. Do people primarily use baitfish for night fishing, especially for redfish?
