So hello there,
I'm gonna be on the pier from the 20th till the 26th of May.....can't wait....
The Coboa are gonna be moved out to deeper water by then, according to what I've read.
I'm hearing that very ocasionally you can catch a tuna off the pier.
How heavy should my rig be for those?
I've got a 10' graphite spinning rod with a surf casting Penn reel, spooled with 50# braid for main line. Will that do it?
Also, used to catch tins of nice speckled trout off the Queen Isabella pier off Padre Island in the 80's. ....do the trout run off the pier there on Oskaloosa?
Best bait and plugs, spoons, etc?
Man thanks brother.
